International Conference on Audiological Sciences (ICAS) aims at imparting and sharing the audiological wisdom to the professionals of Audiology and related fields.


About the Department of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology
The Department of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology at Kasturba Medical College is well known for its clinical services since its inception in 1993. The department also offers graduate, post-graduate and doctoral degrees in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology which is recognized by Rehabilitation Council of India.

About Mangalore
Mangalore is situated on the south-west coast of India, and is bounded by the Arabian Sea to its west and Western Ghats to its east. City’s landscape is characterized by rolling hills, coconut palms and freshwater streams. The city is famous for education, culture, peace and cleanliness.

Conference venue
The conference will take place on September 10-12, 2015 at Sanjeevani hall at KMC Hospital, Attavar, Mangalore. The distance from Mangalore Airport (IXE) is about 17 km. Distance from Mangalore central railway station (MAQ) is about 1 km.

Call for Papers
Papers in all areas related to audiology are encouraged for poster or oral presentations. Contributions will be evaluated by the scientific committee and notification of acceptance/rejection will be given in three days after abstract submission deadline.

Submission
We invite two forms of presentation:
1. Full papers: Oral presentations will be for 10 minutes including 2 minutes for questions.
2. Posters: Posters will be on display during all days.

Decision for oral or poster presentation will be made by scientific committee.

Abstract
Informative abstract should be submitted with a maximum length is 1000 words.
All abstracts must be submitted to icas.mangalore@gmail.com before August 20, 2015. Early submission is encouraged.
Abstracts must be submitted in .doc.docx or .pdf format
