About the Department of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology
The Department of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology at Kasturba Medical College is well known for its clinical services since its inception in 1993. The department also offers graduate, post-graduate and doctoral degrees in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology which is recognized by Rehabilitation Council of India.

The conference will take place on September 21-23, 2017 at Indian Medical Association Hall, Near Milagrees Church, Mangaluru. The distance from Mangalore Airport (IXE) is about 17 km. Distance from Mangalore central railway station (MAQ) is about 500 m.

Call for Papers
Papers in all areas related to audiology are encouraged for poster or oral presentations. Contributions will be evaluated by the scientific committee and notification of acceptance/rejection will be given in three days after abstract submission deadline.

Submission
We invite two forms of presentation:
1. Full papers: Oral presentations will be for 10 minutes including 2 minutes for questions.
2. Posters: Posters will be on display during all days.

Decision for oral or poster presentation will be made by scientific committee.

Abstract
Informative abstract should be submitted with a maximum length is 1000 words.
All abstracts must be submitted to icas.mangalore@gmail.com before September 01, 2017. Early submission is encouraged.
Abstracts must be submitted in .doc.docx or .pdf format

About the Workshop
Professionals of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology who choose Teaching and Clinical supervision, as their career, receive no formal training at any point during their professional life to get indulged into the best practices. Most of the learning for the teachers comes from experiences and the testimonies of the senior experts. This workshop is an initiative to promote the sense of Teaching Learning pedagogy among the teaching and clinical faculty at various RCI recognized teaching institutions of Speech Language Pathology and Audiology, in India.
